EW series / EH series

For cleaning process liquids, cooling lubricant and waste water. It is possible to separate solid particles down to 5 µm. With this plant system a high degree of cleanliness can be achieved with a minimum of technical effort in an extremely compact space. Both plant types (EW and EH) operate completely free of filtration aids. From an inexpensive basic version to the "small central plant", all intermediate stages can be realized without major effort and costs.

Mode of operation

Step 1

The medium to be cleaned flows via a pre-sieve/inlet sieve into the dirt tank. From there the liquid is sucked in by a special pump and pumped to the ZYKLOMAT unit, which can consist of one or several ZYKLOMAT hydrocyclones. In these hydrocyclones the solid materials are separated or centrifuged out of the medium down to a particle size of 5 µm.

Step 2

Utilizing a residual pressure, the cleaned medium flows into the clean section next to the dirt tank (EW series) or into the clean tank located below (EH series) and is then fed to the working process via a machine supply pump.
The precipitated solids are discharged together with part of the liquid into a waiting sludge cart, heavy particles are sediment-
ed and the excess liquid flows through an overflow hose back into the dirt tank. Depending on the amount of sludge produc-
ed, the cart provided must be emptied at certain intervals.

3. Schritt

With these types of systems more liquid is continuously filtered than can be accepted by the machines/plants. This means, an excess/overflow results which fulfills several functions:

  • Through contact with atmospheric oxygen, the liquid recirculates, preventing the formation of anaerobic conditions.
  • With the air aspirated by the ZYKLOMAT hydrocyclones, a flotation effect can be used in the clean tank. Particles not precipitated out are driven to the water surface by the air bubbles and flow via the overflow back into the dirt section.
